Before you head out to the three new playfields, you might want to read up on what the drops do -- which upgrade guns, which can turn your boots/glasses into Inf/Pen rings, which make the new helms, etc.

Weapon/Armor Upgrades

Notum Amplification Coil 28 Confirmed
A unit which uses trace quantities of notum to strengthen the power of energy flows. It can be used to upgrade the Augmented Hellspinner Shock Cannon, Aquarius's Multitask Helper, or a Kyr'Ozch Carbine (Type 5, 12, or 13) of quality level 250 or greater.

Action Probability Estimator 13 Confirmed
A module which predicts the actions of entities. It can be used to upgrade certain Molybdenum helmets, Knight helmets, or Combined Headwear of quality level 250 or greater.

Energy Redistribution Unit ALL
A unit which splits energy flows. It can be used to upgrade a Vektor ND Dragon, the Lava Protection Boots and Skin Galvanizer, or to modify a Kyr'Ozch Energy Rapier - Type 992 of quality level 250 or greater.

Visible Light Remodulation Device ALL
A unit which acts to change the refractive qualities of surfaces. It can be used to upgrade Concrete Cushions of quality level 10 or greater, Hyper-Radiation Protection Skin and Glasses, or to improve a Viral Targeting Subunit of quality level 250 or greater for use in a Salabim Shotgun.

Dynamic Gas Redistribution Valves 13 Confirmed
A series of valves which reconfigure themselves, allowing for waste products of reactions to be reused for a variety of purposes. It can be used to upgrade an Excellent Sleek Cannon, the Lord of Angst, or Kyr'Ozch Rifles (Type 2 or 3) of quality level 250 or greater.

Inertial Adjustment Processing Unit 28 Confirmed
A belt which adjusts the inertial properties of items that a person is wielding in their hands. It can be used to improve the Diamondine Kick Pistol or Murder Mauls of quality level 250 or greater. It can also be used to create a new NCU platform if one adds data storage and a compiler. The platform will not be usable until it is activated by an unknown substance.

Kyr'Ozch Helmet All 1 Drop/Boss
A helmet from a Kyr'Ozch battlesuit. This can be turned in for a bounty. [NPC will tell you that you can trade it for a token board.]

Turn in to NPCs for Credits or Tokens

Chat with each NPC on site to see which gives credits or tokens.
If you turn these in and you're 220, it will say: Side Tokens Collected: 0.
Your total collection of tokens are in tact however, just an FYI.

Kyr'Ozch Rank Identification All
A chip containing rank identifiers for a highly ranked Kyr'Ozch. This can be turned in for a bounty.

Kyr'Ozch Battlesuit Audio Processor All
A unit which processes input relayed by auditory sensors mounted on a Kyr'Ozch battlesuit. This can be turned in for a bounty.

Kyr'Ozch Battlesuit Water Processing Unit All
A unit which cleans and aerates water contained within a Kyr'Ozch battlesuit. This can be turned in for a bounty.

This unique set of defensive programs defends the logic centers of a City Controller from attack by Kyr'Ozch hackers. It will restore the status of the Controller to full operation immediately, though it will be degraded by future alien attacks. It requires time to install, and thus can not be input while the controller is under attack.

Quests / Area 35 Guide

To get to the new alien playfields, go to ICC, run out the tunnel, keep going till you hit a large landing pad. You'll know it when you see it. Stand near the Beacon, and the shuttle will land once every 10 mins. Step into the blue pulsing circle, and you'll zone to the new area. Run down till you find the Unicorn Security Administrator and chat with him.

Area 35 PREP

Talk to Unicorn Security Administrator at the top and get access to Area 35. You'll get a mission. Come down to the mission gates to 35.

A Unicorn will soon say GATES OPEN, run up to the gate, and establish a portal. Right-click the portal to enter. On the other side, work your way down with the group, swams of aliens here and there.

DO NOT run into laser fense, wait till gatekeeper spawn portal and click on. If you try run -- you die instantly.

Make two tanking teams -- there are two bosses at the end. Be sure each tank team has enfie, 2 docs, etc.

Be sure to set a leader as /assist so all mobs are hit at the same time/no one targets a tower by accident, etc. If someone does, they'll die. (You'll understand in a bit.)

Raid

Go in, kill MOBS...

You'll reach the large open area with three towers. Do not attack these towers, and keep your distance from them. Do not target or attack them in any way, or mongo/do anything with an AOE nearby. No aoe pet effects, no enfie AOEs of any kind, no AOE attacks or heals, etc.



Raidleader should chat with the Engineer here, and say that we're ready to help. He'll despawn and go into the ship at this point.

Kill the aliens as they spawn in waves. Best to circle around the towers and the waves come in from all angles.

Clan-Style Raid: Ancalagon says... When we stood inside the towers, we didn't get spawns. Once we moved slightly outside and ran around outside the towers we got spawns.


Ring around the towers, a pocket full of posies.
Joint clan/omni raid for teh win.

Omni-Style Raid: Banishedsoul Says... You can stand inside the towers, just yell and scream %$#@ to all the people at start of raid.. repeat it.. make sure people dont mongo.. aoe.. take of aoe buffs on pets.. auras.. etc etc etc

BOSS

This area has two bosses and they come at the same time. One spawns on E side, other on W. Best to keep them apart. Split up the group into two, one tank on each -- everyone assist on one then the other.

Banishedsoul Says: We noticed when we had the one boss at 20% that he got a reflect... Then I targetted the other. And that was named "Support", so one boss feeds reflect to other.

RAID

Zone in. You'll see the Rookie mob. Have your raidleader/someone with the mission talk to the Rookie. He says he will lead you to the BOSS he found, only if you give him 2M. 1M now, 1M when you get to the boss.

Do not mongo or attack this Rookie. Don't put him on follow either, like these guys...



If you attack him, he will kill anyone who aggored him, and shoot you a bit + Nuke for up to 50k depending on reflect.  He will also do this to anyone who tries to heal the aggroed player"  (the last part happends in any part of the game really.. if you aggroed rookie.. ur dead... dont drag anyone else down with you..)

The Rookie Hunter will run/jog/walk -- follow him. The mission is for you to protect the Rookie -- so only move when he does, keep your group on top of him and spread out around him.

Do not get in front of him. Once he reaches a laser gate, he will go through it -- WAIT for him to take the gate down, then follow him through it as a group. Aliens will be spawning all this time, be sure to kill them and be sure the Rookie isn't harmed. He will do this several times -- open gates for you -- so be sure not to surge too far forward.

[NOTE: If the Alien Rookie Hunter disapears or is killed during the raid he has been known to repop at the end again. You will then need to pay him another million to get him moving again.   All the laser gates you have allready gone trough will still be down and no new aliens will pop.]

Once you pass trough each laser gate you will have to clear each sector, more and more will spawn but the stretch has been known to be killed  with just 1 team of good players and the right keyprofs. But the boss will become too tough for just 1 team (at least yet..)

BOSS

Once you get through the final laser gate that he opens for you, stay together as a group and do not run too far forward.


Somebody get me outta here!

The boss will spawn without you having to pay the last 1M. Adds will come as well, be sure to assist and take down the mobs as they come and keep your tank alive. You'll be turned into coccoons -- assist and kill them and the adds. Fun stuff!

All doctors, add Epsilon Purge to a shortcut bar for later use.

RAID

Go in, kill MOBS. You'll reach the large open area.

Our tank pulls one alien, we all /assist on this ONE large alien mob. A doc needs to land Epsilon Purge on this and all of these mobs one at a time to rip off their shields and then we kill them.

Be sure to target and kill the mobs called Support -- they will then not be able to cast new reflect shields on the larger mobs. Once you pull the first of the larger mobs you'll see the Support arrive -- kill the Supports immediately. [Thanks Banishedsoul.]

Once they're dead, DON'T MOVE. The raidleader will open chat with the Unicorn on the top of the hill (run back to the tree then UP to find him and chat), and ask for the troopers to come in.

Do not attack these Troopers. Do not mongo, use AOE effects or snares, pet AOEs, NTs never use AOE nukes, no area heals. These area effects aggro the Troopers (DEVS fix this plez!) and they'll kill you.

Wait until the Troopers arrive (a min or two) and run around. Do NOT move. Wait for raidleader to say when it's time to go.

BOSS

Before moving E to the boss once the troopers arrive, everyone MUST move to the rocks in the center of the clearing, press F1 to target themselves, then right-click the Biological Transceiver on the ground (green small unit) to get a nano in your NCU.

Be sure that you see "Nano Program Executed Successfully" and see the Protection nano in your NCU. Only then can you cross E and into the boss area. If you don't do this, you will die when you hit the gate.

Once boss dies and loot is rolled, you need to target/click another transceiver under the boss to leave the area without getting killed on the gates.

Yep... same. I usually head up, AMS, get 1 target. Shout for rest to come, they assist.

Then Jocelyn our most insanely uber crat mezzes the other adds, and the doc(s) chime in to keep us alive.

Lately, we've lucked out with zoning into hallways with only 1-3 adds. Long as the raidgroup listens and stays near the lift but doesn't block it/back into a door to make 5-6 more come out to play, we're just fine.

Blitzing/Camping RK missions at lvl 220 to get an AI attack is...

Rumor going around that the device doesn't drop from the bosses unless you get the mission above like 80% complete.

I've blitzed MANY team missions (12+) to date, no drops.

Any credence to this rumor? No blitzing allowed?

Update: This is a rumor. I blitzed about 30 mishs, got 2 devices, soloing/blitzing the bosses.
